Featured items: Leather jacket and boots- Tommy Hilfiger/ Hat-H&M

Truth be told, as a fashion blogger (ah, I have to get use to saying that now..) I do get more pressure and make more effort on choosing what to wear for the photo shoots to post on my blog. However, on a day to day basis, I hardly give a second thought on color match, texture combo or anything like that. And those sky high booties are definitely out of the picture. So to give you a little peak on what I mostly throw on before heading out the door, I've chosed one of my "uniforms" for today's outfit post.

P.S. Happy new year everyone! I hope you'all have a fantastic time tonight  and party your pants off! See you next year!

Take my hand and I'll show you the wild side

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: Trench coat and boots- Tommy Hilfiger/Skull tank and tiger print blazer- Zara/ black skinnies- Bershka

I picked up this amazing tiger printed silk blazer this passed summer in the Zara sale. Since it was late summer then, which means it was already way too cold to wear any summer clothing here in Holland..(weird? I know!) So without a second thought, I put it in the back of my closet and have been neglecting it ever since. But thought it could be part of a fun Christmas outfit, I dusted it off and this happened!

Till next time!

Have a very merry Chrismas!

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: longsleeve lace crop top: H&M; Gold maxi skirt: River Island; heels: Zara; watch: DKNY

I'm not an one into gold (as a color) in general. Of course I'd pick up a gold ring or necklace here and there like everyone would, but the idea of wearing a full on GOLD maxi skirt did scared me quite a bit at first! (And truth be told, this might as well be the last time in a while that you'd see me in such a statement color!) The cut and shape of it is spot on! And that sexy slit on the side is just A-mazing. I kept the rest of the outfit as simple as I could since the skirt is so "in your face".

I hope you'all had an amazing Chrismas with your loved ones! And let's keep the holiday spirit up, New Year's eve is coming faster than you think!

Rome photo diary

I apologize for the highly repetitive outfits in above photos. But I figured that the amazing Roman cityscape is great enough for you to overlook that?!

all dressed up and nowhere to go!

Featured items: Bodycon dress and shoes by Zara/ tights by H&M

Ok, so I originally brought this outfit for a night out in Rome, unfortunately it was just so darn cold there I ended up staying in most of the nights. But the idea of spending half day stuffing my suitcase with clubbingwear all for nothing was nearly unbearable. So we decided to shot away in the hotel for some outfit posts. Cause knowing the fact that they were captured in the glorious Rome just made them seem so much better!

oh roma! Parte due

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: leather jacket and boots: Tommy Hilfiger/ faux fur scarf: Zara/ bag: Karl Lagerfeld/ bodycon dress: H&M

Oh glorious Rome! Looking at the photos now and all the wonderful memories come rushing back. Definitely need to plan another trip there in the near future, ok, maybe when it's waaaaay warmer. Quite frankly it was much colder there than I antispated, like 10 degrees lower to my liking. Winter has certainly hit Europe fast and hard! Luckily I've long mastered the layering skill by now. Bodycon dress, long sleeve tee, knitted hoodie, leather jacket and a humongous faux fur scarf, I bundled-up like a Russian doll. Clearly that Zara faux fur scarf is the hero of them all, nothing beats cozying up to a soft fluffy fur in a cruel winter day! Not to mention its ability to glam up an outfit instantly. So surely it will find its way to many outfit posts throughout these colder months.

Ok, till next time! X
