It's truely beautiful this time of the year. Although I really don't care for the dry skin and chapped lips that came along with the season, it's really hard to take a walk outside and not being wowed by the breathe-taking color pallet the nature created. My friend/photographer for the day Lulu and I went to a lovely small town called Naarden for today's shoot. As if the historical Dutch houses, little cute streets, tons of cozy cafes and adorebal clothing shops are not enough to attract anyone already, the town is an actual fort in a shape of a star! A-mazing, right?!
Now, onto the clothes. I promise I didn't plan this, but I ended up wearing all Tommy Hilfiger for the day, oops! The cream colored slouchy sweater is currently on heavy rotations in my everday outfits. I've inquired uncountable amount of chunky knits recently, but this has to be my favourite. It just falls and folds at all the right places if you know what I mean. The heeled chealsea boots are this season's must haves. They are classy, easy to walk in and almost go with any outfit. I have to admit, it was the hardest thing to do when trying to decide which color to purchase. In the end to avoid further damage my brain, I HAD to buy them in 3 different colorways. It might seem a little excessive, but I'll make much use out of them! you'll see.

Ok, so it wasn't a particularly chilly day. That was my pathetic defence for wearing this ridicularless weather inapropriate outfit. You see, I've only recently received these Zara wedges and there was no way I was going to wait till next year to showcase them. I love how simple and sleek they look and that ankle stripe just nailed it! I've been killing myself for not picking up the infamous ankle striped sandals from Mango when I had a chance!(You know, the ones that almost every fashion blogger owns.) And ever since then, I've been collecting almost anything that came with an ankle stripe! And nothing seems to fill that void! *sign* The hunt continues..
Anyhoo, move on to the rest of the outfit now. I added another 2 of my current favorites here, the cream colored slouchy sweater which shows just enough skin on the shoulder to make it faminine and the black silk skirt which is softer and smoother than butter. Maybe I'll just add a pair of tights and a leather jacket to wear it for work tomorrow?

So glad that I picked up this shearling jacket when I got the chance. It literally is the only thing that keeps me warm in this bone shattering cold weather before I fully commit to the thick fluffy winter coats. Oh boy, don't I just hate wearing those. For someone who's ultra short as me, big fluffy outerwears are absolute nightmares. So naturally, I'd mostly go for something more figure flattering rather than weather appropriate. Maybe it's time to start the hunt for the ultimate winter coat that checks all boxes?

Gosh, how did it become so cold so quickly. It seems like I might need something more substantial than this 3 quarter sleeves faux fur jacket soon enough. But for now, it will do! I picked up this black midi length dress from the Zara summer sale in July. It somehow managed to hide itself at the bottom of my wardrope since then. Of course when I finally dug it out by accidant, it has became completely weather inapropriate. But when did that ever stop me from wearing something that I want! Pairing it with some black tights and wola!

Apparently this is what I wear for a walk in the field nowadays, no really. But they are what I mostly end up with when I can't be bothered to give it a second thought but still respect myself enough not to leave the house in sweat pants and Uggs! Printed tees and faux leather pants are stables in lots of bloggers fall wardrobe and no doubt about it, there is a good reason why. Effortlessly cool and reasonably comfort with zero fuzz to style, you just can't beat that! I'd usually add a pair of flat ankle boots or sneakers for out and about, and some heels for work. Though a fur jacket might seem a bit too much for some of you for this time of the year, it's definitely a necessity for living in Holland. Man, isn't it cold here! I've had this gray one from Tommy Hilfiger for quite sometime now. It does a great job for keeping me warm despite its 3 quarter sleeves. But I am currently on a look out for something better, maybe one of those leopard printed ones if I could somehow manage to find.
