when denim met shearling

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: shearling jacket and denim vest by Tommy Hilfiger/ white tee and wedge sneakers by Zara/ skinnies by Bershka

For whatever reason this beautiful shearling jacket was somehow totally forgotten at the back of my wardrobe. Luckily it is still cold enough here in the Netherlands to rock this baby the hell out before putting it away for ...well, maybe only a couple of months considering the almost non-existence of summer here!

black on black in Ghent

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: sweater, faux leather trousers, bag and coat by Zara/ boots by Tommy Hilfiger

Chose a slight more dress up look for the second day in Ghent. Guess I was a bit sick of all the slouchiness on me the day before...This Zara coat is still on my favorite list at the moment since the spring decided to postpone its appearance this year for some reason. Therego, the chunky sweater and faux leather pants combo too...

this is how we cozy up for spring

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Featured items: maxi dress by Vera Moda/ sweater by Tommy Hilfiger/ faux fur coat by River Island/ bag by Zara/ hat by H&M

Was wearing this on my first day in Ghent. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with this comfy/cozy outfit choice since it was so cold there and we literally spent the entire day outside sightseeing.

on the rooftop

Photographed by Bart Rondeel
Location: Ghent, Belgium

Had few days off last week and decided to take a trip to Belgium last minute. I use to visit there rather often since it is only 2/3 hours away, and they've got the best fries and waffles (among many other wonderful things of course!). The hotel we stayed in was simply Ay-mazing! It was situated right in the historical center and has got the most friendly staff, not to mention the fact that we had a direct entry to a roof top from our bedroom. It would be a total waste not to take some outfit photos there!

I've been eyeing this green DC cap since the day my bf got it. Finally got a chance to feature it in one of my oufit shoots last weekend. something tells me you'll be seeing it rather often here!

when it hails

Photographed by Bart Rondeel

Oh the tricky Dutch weather! only an hour after these photos were shot, it started to hail heavily on our way home! Biking in the middle of nowhere with millions of ice ball hitting you all over the place (in my favorite tweed jacket!) was hell of an experience!

feeling black and white

Photographed by Lu Zhao
Featured items: striped shirt and skirt by Monki/ black booties by Tommy Hilfiger/ oversize clutch by Karl Legarfeld

I'm not someone that into shirts, unless, it's a cool distressed denim shirt. But I seriously couldn't resist this stripy monochrome shirt from Monki. Paired it with this saggy and slightly sporty skirt from Monki as well in attempt of casual the look up a bit. I'm not gonna lie, this is definitely not something I'd normally go for. But I love the idea of coming out of the comfort zone from time to time to avoid stuck in a fashion rot!

ready to surf

Photographed by Lu Zhao
Featured items: denim shirt and flatforms by Tommy Hilfiger/ skirt and faux fur coat by River Island/ hat by H&M/ belt by Lowlife
Location: Laren, the Netherlands

A simple grey and black combo featuring my new favorite skirt. Love the fact that this skirt is made of a very unusual material of foamed neoprene (used to make wetsuit!). Not that it adds any practical factor to the garment. But the idea of it (and the texture) is still quite cool. I'm entertaining the idea of featuring it in a beachy sporty outfit. Wearing nothing but this skirt, a bikini top and a surf board...
