Sunflowers and house tour (part 5)

Looking at these photos now, and just realized that all garments that I was wearing were sale purchases. Score! The stripy " barely there" sandals are recent picks from the current Zara summer sale. I've actually got something quite similar but these do have double ankle stripes! So that was totally justifiable?! The red coated pants were purchased from last years Zara sale for barely 17 euros! And they've been my wardrobe stable ever since. What a steal! Some people say do stay away from sale shopping since you might end up with "crap" that you only buy because the reduced price, which does make quite some sense. However, if you have enough self control and only purchase items that you wouldn't mind paying full price for, then why the hell not..

Oh boy, I'm so in love with my city, especial now when the weather gets warmer. For those who didn't know I've moved to Haarlem late December last year, and I can't be happier with my decision.

Love wearing a cute little dress made of delicate fabrics with a pair of good old chuncky Dr. Martens. It's all about contrast and balance my ladies!

dark floral ( house tour part 4)

I love a good old black on black outfit, I can't seem to emphasize that enough clearly! But I love to add a bit of floral to give it a pop and spring summer feel. Personally I prefer florals on a darker background, just because it seem to suit me better. And the bomber fit of this jacket really adds a right amount of sportiness to it! Perfect!

on the stairwell (house tour part 3)

Yes, the house tour continues, today we shot at the stairwell to the bedrooms with some of my current pieces. Picked up yet another crop top to add to my ever growing collection for the summer. This one is from Mango, love the texture and the fit of it. (Clearly the camera didn't do its justice..) Love the slightly sporty fit of it, can think of million ways to rock this top to its full potential!

This maxi pleated skirt has been one of essentials for the longest time. it's so very flowy, with its ultra thin fabric, I could just manage to get away of wearing it in the summer here.

And of course no outfit is completed with a hat, in my opinion. Wearing my trusty H&M number here, really should've picked up the camel one too when I had a chance...

The Body Shop Cool Skin Treat Event

The body shop has been one of my all time favorite body/skincare brand ever since I moved to Europe years and years ago. Their remarkable body butters were the first things that won me over, then I discovered their tee tree range of skincare products, and the fact that they stay strong against animal testing, support community fair trade is really the reason I'm always going back for more!

When I heard about the Cool Skin Treat event to promote the new fruity body sorbets, I jumped the chance of taking a look around and picked a couple goodies for myself for this summer!

The store is packed with ice cream, fresh fruits, bubblies and of course their star products at the moment, the beautiful, colorful, fruity body sorbets! Each and every one of them smells divine. And the texture feels lovely on the skin, definitely need to pick up a few for the summer.

The Honey Bronze shimmering dry oil definitely caught my eye when I was there. Although it was not the star of the night, but I just couldn't seem to leave without it! The product and concept is bit similar to the famous Nuxe dry oil. It feels moisturizing on the skin. It leaves a really faint tint and shimmer and the smell..oh so divine! Perfect for the summer holidays!

So of course I couldn't resist but to pick up a few bits and pieces. As I mentioned before, the honey bronze just had to come home with me! And since I'm running low on my Camomile Cleansing Oil, I stocked up on those again. (It's a must have in my skincare routine!) And I've also got a Vitamin C energizing face spritz, Camomile gentle eye makeup remover and a blueberry shower gel in my goodie bag.

Stay tuned for some individual product reviews in the near future on!

closet confidential

Like I mentioned before, I'm starting a new series of shoots inside my house! These ones were taken inside my closet room! So there you have it, a little sneak peek inside my wardrobe!

Wearing my favorite crop top from Topshop there. Got it in quite a few colorway now, but it's still nowhere near enough! Now in need for some high - waisted shorts to pair them with before festival season kick start!

in da house

One of my absolute spring essential is a light weight cashmere sweater. I understand it might be slightly too warm to wear anywhere else in the world but trust me in the Netherlands, it just about warm enough right now!

It's uber versatile, you can casual it down with a pair of jeans or silky skirts/shorts and you can easily dress it up with some more structured or fitted trousers!

Love how these photos turned out honestly! We actually shot these in my living room! Planning to do more shoots like this around the house in the near future. So stick around if you're interest in having a sneak peek of my house!
